Yeah I took my 18v Dewalt drill to the corner of that tail light to create a drainage system… I coulda sworn I had a small pond forming figure it is better to have drainage until I replace that damn thing…

changed my spark plugs and set my timing…
Finished the first proper tune-up on this car in probably 15 years, LOL. Now all I have to do is replace a stripped motor mount bolt, a rusted and chewed up alternator nut, compressor belt tensioner pulley (dry bearing), and, and… I think my list is growing, not shrinking.

its a bit more advanced than that cuz my mechanical timing seems to be off a bit…i could care less tho, im done with this motor, by friday i will know if a new jdm b20 will be in my possession soon

My question would be why mh1? If you were planning to cut the reflector I would have used a better/oem projector.
Bryan, the fluting on the lense kills the cutoff line, not the output. Believe me that setup will be a huge upgrade over the stock halogen bulb. The fluting causes a small amount of glare that wouldn’t be there if the lenses were clear because it scatters the light from the cutoff but I haven’t been flashed once with my jdm one piece retro and I can see better than I could with my previous ebay retro. I do miss my sharp colorful cutoff though…

ROLLINMYDA i got the mini h1 cause they where pretty cheap 60bucks i didnt really mind cutting the reflectors,
update polishing the fluted lens i didnt want to do it but i really want that nice output ill post some pics later today…

LOL!!! i think it looks dope, i like the ambers you dont see that and it looks like it brings the turn signals together…the blue is…meh, but it kinda works. i wish you were local. i’d love to get my one pieces retrofitted. then i can tint my front window comfortably
yea i dont drill, i just get a rag and dry it out. back there…it’s not horrible, but it’s aggravating enough.
Retrofit looks nice g2raider! My next retrofit will be with the JDM 1 pieces for sure. Can’t wait to see the output shots.

Befor i use to love the all clear jdm headlights but i got tired of the same look
and now im diggin the amber and yellow it looks JDM in my opinion
I sanded the lens but i didnt have the right tools thats why it looks weird
but it looks ok no pro wit me.
