I haev a 91 ls sedan with intake and cat-back exhaust. I want to get more hp so I am thinking about headers. What brand do I look at kamikaze, dc, arospeed…?
first of all, you only need a single header for a four cylinder car. inline-cylinder cars use one “header”. cars with v-style engines (V8’s, V6’s) use two “headers”.
now that is out of the way.
i have heard that aerospeed makes shitty stuff. i would look at comptec or maybe dc.
Do a search, this subject has been discussed a million times. DC usually comes out the winner. HTH

i would use to have voted dc as well but i just put in a set of ractive 4-2-1 headers in my car and except for instand discoloration(that i really could care less want it for power not looks) there amazing! Well it kinda helps that i got a high flow cat and that the old cat was toasted! but hey that my 02! dc is rely good but i find that ractive just as good!

ok my friends dad and my friend and myself and my dad… we can all weld and have welded ****…tig. mig …whatever…i own an OBX header… my friend has a DC… my welds were great…the dc’s we great… no real difference in the two except the obx seemed to straight out faster…421…ive seen other brands…
Greddy …the welds are ok and i think greddy is jsut a name…
the one brand that pep boys sell SUCK…kamikaze or whatever suck too…i ahve raced my car …intake obx header. exhaust…test pipe and i can out run my friends teg with just header and intake which is a greddy and its a 94. i say dc or OBX…mines stainless steel too…
installed a OBX on the sons GS about two weeks ago, very impressed with the mid range and top end response changes. Fit was a little tighter around the oil pan than I would have liked, but other wise GREAT. :whoa: :burnout:

You lose power on a N/A teg yes, but i’m running a 70 shot of nitrous. Again think before you open your mouth :roll:
ahh remember nitrous is cheating …and with a better header it would be even more effective…and more oxygen is better( intake) than exhaust for nitrous

Who TF told you nitrous is cheating? It’s only cheating if you don’t tell someone you’re racing that you’re on the bottle.
There is nothing wrong with someone using nitrous as long as they’re being honest about it.
