What is the colour name or colour code on JDM DA6 dashboard.

Hi Guys,

I have a Teg xsi DA6 JDM 170bhp!

Anyway before i had it my uncle had it, and very stupily he sprayed the top glovebox cover red!!! WTF, and also he did the heater vents, and the climate control fascia RED!!!.

Now i have her, i want to return the dashboard components back to OEM colour. Does anyone know what the colour code is or the name of the standard OEM honda dashboard paint.

i dont know the color code for the dash but when i changed all of mine to black from tan i used black vinyl spray paint from home depot and it hasnt warn down or wrinkled or cracked .

Did you have to primer first or not?

Has the finish come out like OEM?

yeah it came out like factory i have had iot for about 1 year and im happy with it ill try to get picks for you .and i didnt prime it at all just cleaned it really well

Do not spray paint it with any more paint. Do this instead, buy some brake fluid and submerge the parts inside the brake fluid and let them sit there for a couple of hours. When you take them out hose them down with a hose ( a pressure nozzle helps). You will see the paint slide right off and restore them back to normal. You might need to use a plastic brush to get those small areas but it will work.

I know this works as this is the process I use on plastic model cars. Its take the paint right off without a problem.
