watsup g2 i have a 1990 integra with a stock b18 non vtec i have a oil leak and wanted to know what is the component that is in between the green connector which i believe is the oil pressure switch and the oil filter…i seem to see oil leaking from that component which i dont know what its called?? please correct me if im wrong … the component that is in between the green connector and oil filter is black…thanks
PCV box. It’s like a black square box? Has I think 2 hoses coming off of it?
the green connector is actually for collant temp. the plug right next to it which I belive is the one your referring too(wire clip looks like a Hershey kiss) is the Oil temp sensor. it could be a number of things. the oil could acutally be leaking threw the sensor, past the threads and hopefully this isnt the case for you but the casting of the block is know to crack(you can refer to deceptakans build thread, hes having this very issue.) there from over tightening of the sensor or numerous other reasons.
just clean it up really good with a tooth brush and some cleaner of your choice. then you just have to get down there with a light and a mirror and pinpoint your leak. GL
