what is the difference between 90-91 & 92-93 rear bumpers ?

92-93 rear bumper # 71501-SK7-A80ZZ

What is the difference?

it more of mounting location & brackets or just the visual difference mold?

Visual differences… the sides of the '92-93 ‘flare out’ a little more versus the more straight cut '90-91, if I recall…

Either will bolt up just fine. Like unified said they just look different.

Charlie, here’s the visual differences:

90-91:

92-93:

Both are a direct fit as aforementioned, they just have aesthetic differences. One benefit to the 90-91 rear bumper is being able to run the OEM optional rear lip, as shown below.

I’m not always a fan of the optional rear lip but it looks great on your car!

the 92-93 flares outward on the bottom section.

i may pick up a clean 92 reaer bumper at the junkyard for $45…
