What is the oem stero system in our cars?

I am trying to upgrade my speakers and cassette player in my 1992 Honda integra. I know jvc made the speakers for it. but who was the manufactura for the cassetteplayers for our cars? I’m trying to go back original but upgraded version. I’m trying to keep the same company. thanks. and I also know now that kenwood bought out jvc. thanks for any info. stereo! oops. ha

I have been doing some searching and this is what I found so far that someone said… Honda tends to use Sony equipment, Acura uses only Apline equipment in their cars to solve this problem. so the if he is correct I wonder if sony made the cassette players in the Honda integras? hmmmmm. damn it. ha

There’s like 3 different versions of the OEM stereo, I believe. The RS is one in itself, then there is the LS/GS stereo, then the GS-R stereo. They are all different.
