I was in the process of looking around for any loos parts and found a set of snapon tools the previous owner lost and this small box that isnt plugged to anything. what is it?
oh incase your wondering why im looking for loose parts is that I cant get my hot/cold knob to work right and think something broke and fell.
that is your AC temperature sensor, it connects to a a loomed connection that would be running up the left side of the radio.
E: plastic split loom, not like braided sheathing in your picture. youll see it, it shouldnt have anything connected to it
I think that is the chime for when the key is in the car the a/c temperature sensor is on the evap box I think as I looked it up in the Helms manuel but I could be wrong

Up to his traditional usefulness OMG Its Weasel spitting out waste information, Darussianone is correct the piece is your chime assembly: 39760-SD2-A01 and connects to your dashboard wiring harness at C722.
ok does anyone have a diagram of it cuz I looked around for the connector and didnt see it. I already have a chime when I have the key in the ignition accessory. I completely took out all my A/c engine hardlines, pump and condensore. I left everything in the dash since I still want the heater. You guys think I need it or not?
yeah I never hear any chime when I leave the lights on with the key out… Only chime I get is the one after i shut off the motor and open the door, so I wont forget the keys in…
I looked everywhere for the connectore it plugs to but nothing. Could it be that my harness doesnt have it. I tried to follow the diagram above but I still couldnt find anything. I guess I have to visit the local wrecking yard to pull one out of another DA so I can find the plug.
can anyone take pics of this thing pluged so I can see what part of the harness its spliced on…
