Wssup everyone, i was just wondering if anybody had the same problem like im having. At a stand still when the motor is running, i turn my steering wheel to the left and it makes this wierd metal “stretching” or “grinding” noise at my front right wheel. It only makes that noise when i turn the wheel to the left, and when im driving under 30mph and you can hear a click/stretching sound from the echo of other parked cars i drive by. What the hell? I checked my power steering fluid and the level is normal, i looked under the car and there is no loose parts…im i SOL? maybe its something with the rackandpinion? HELP?
u should check ur axels first, check the CV joints and boots for wear and tear, and if nothing is wrong with it, then check ur rack and pinion…good luck:D
Theres nothing wrong with my CV boots, just turned my brake discs w/new brake pads. It is probably my rack and pinion. Thanks for the info.
