what kind of h.i.d kit do i use for the jdm headlights?

so i bought some jdm headlights they dont come with the harness so im planning t go h.i.d for my bulbs, what kind of kit should i use that would fit the stock wire harness and the jdm lights?

lol yeah go to passwordjdm. they got it for the headlight and the fogs

since you’re in the bay area…just get it from T&R Lighting. they’re local, they have good quality HID kits and good warranty. i warn you, mainly ALL h4h hids sucks in the JDM one pieces. light output scatters everywhere and you get annoying random hotspots.

here’s the T&R Lighting link:

yeaaa i have hids in my 1pcs the reflective range is horrible scatters everywhere

so with the password jdm H4H kit… do you need any type of jumper harness?? or are those only for none hid bulbs??

so if you have bad lighting with the oem h4h bulbs then what is a good alternate solution? the H4 bulbs? and I thought hid bulbs ran cooler than the regular halogen gas bulbs.

the problem is NOT in the h4h HID bulbs…but in the complete reflector bowl itself. when i first installed a regular plug-N-play h4h HID in my 1-pieces, i tried everything to fix the scatter output beams, but nothing was a sure fix. i tried installing glare guards, using different HID bulbs, spacing the bulbs farther away, even pushing the bulbs in more, but nothin’ really made it better. the only sure alternative for me was a retro-fit, and that’s been the best results so far.

if a retro-fit is too expensive for you, you can always try to install another reflector bowl into the 1-pieces. the only challenge is mounting it inside the headlights. also, the flutes on the 1-pieces lens can be a pain.

so what your saying is that our jdm headlight just seems to have a bad reflectore and lighting. Ive noticed others with 1pc headlight and HIDs and it seems to be a big glare or light thats not really diredcted or pointed infront of the car.

yup…the reflectors inside the DA jdm 1-pieces don’t do well with HIDs.
