what kinda mileage is everyone getting?

I get about 24-27 with a 93 B16 first gen and tranny, IHE.

on the freeway i get like 30-35

on this tank i’ve gotten 50 miles so far (i’m at 1/2).

wtf is wrong… i’ve been slamming the pedal, but still, i’m looking at 100 for the WHOLE TANK!

that’s 10 mpg.

Ive gotten in the 21-25 range since i bought the car in september. Ill get 30 a tank if its all highway driving, although it rarely is due to the chicagoland traffic. The cold morning starts lately havent helped the MPG much either, but I cant complain.

26-30 mpg… which equates to 260-300 miles per tank. my car has 180,800 miles on the original block w/a rebuilt head, ported polished… i used 87 octane and my car is automatic!

blackteg thx for that info!!!

i’m also getting 220-230 around town, But i have a MSD SCI sitting in my car should be installed by tomorrow. I’m looking forward to drive 260-280 + miles per full tank =P . save me good amount of money and shows off how good the condition of my car is =)

WTF?!

I have to get gas like every two damn days, I swear my car is a freakin V8, and Im not even on the throttle…

My car burns gas like nothin, what could be the problem, believe it or not, I got MSD 6AL box, Blaster 2, and 9 mm Wires all around…WTF is happening? weird, I thought G2s are the cars that get the worst Gas mileage…My car does at least:sad:

400km/tank around town. Took road trip to Ottawa, got 600km/tank highway.
Lessee, that converted equals 23.5 mpg city and 35.3 mpg highway.
Or in silly canadian numbers…
10 L/100km city and 6.66 L/100km highway.

Try changing your 02 sensor and then resetting your ECU following the teg tips section advice. IMO, I would leave the fuse out for at least 15 mins. Then put back in…the rest. When I changed my 02 sensor I got a significant jump in mpg. Hope that helps you, and or all of you that are getting shmitty gas mileage.

i have just changed my o2 like 2-3 weeks ago. i put in a new bosch sensor

I just got 350 miles out of a tank. With AEM CAI, Header, Greddy MX exhaust.

21-23 miles to the gallon and this is mostly highway driving too. I am almost tapped out at 220 miles. It seems like the more mods you do, the lower the gas mileage.

bonestock, what size wheels you have on your car? just the stock ones?

and i guess i could ask the same for you other guys/gals, what wheel size you have on your car?

what tire pressure you all running?

i have 15" wheels with 205/50/15 tires @ 34 psi

?!?!?!

O2 sensor that is right before my Catylic Converter?! IS that the one that I should be changin?!

I get about 20 mpg (less latley since everyone wants to race me).
i noticed i get more with supreme gas about 24 mpg. also new plugs make a big difference

B16A
header
CAI
exhaust
msd
Zex nos
underdrive pully kit
stage 4 clutch (it’s a grabber)
big ass radiator
17 inchers
JDM headlights (nothing to do with mpg)

I measured it once and found I was getting 32 MPG (babying it at about 60 mph) on a road trip. I have a 1990 LS w/ 240,000 km.
I had just replaced the O2 sensor, and the fuel filter. (Canadian Teg)

Hope this helps

Steve

i posted on this thread earlier about how i only get around 240 miles to the tank and i probably need a new o2 sensor… well this tank. so far… i have about 55-60 miles and the needle has barely budged… i’m hoping that this will be the mileage to end all worries hehe

I get about 400kms off a 35 litre fill on normal driving.

Although since I took off the intake resonator a couple of days ago I’ve only got 159kms off about 17.5 litres - it just sounds so good over 5500rpm now that I’ve driven anywhere under that now

rcnacura, before changing your O2 sensor did you have any emissions problems?

Stock 90 RS with 148,000 miles
K&N filter
NGK V-power plugs
NGK HE56 wires
Mobil 1 5w30
Honda oil filter
GSR rims
205/50 tires at 30-32 psi
regular unleaded
290-360 miles per tank usually with about 2 gallons left. half the time there’s someone in the car with me.

Yah I did. I couldn’t pass smog before. Then I changed it and wala! Presto chango, passed smog. Its pretty easy to change I think. Just use to oil penetrating liquid and spray the 02 sensor before trying to untighten it. Then I used a pipe wrench to get the bugga off.

mine is 26 mpg…my high was 400 from E to F…dat was all highway driving…das wha happens when your mad and have no where to go…hahaaha
