what needs to be replaced?

Hey everyone, I just got a 1991 Integra LS Special in a trade and I was wondering if anyone has any ideas of what I should replace in my suspension. The car squeaks going over any bump and creaks and groans when going over speedbumps. Could it just need new bushings all around? Or possibly more? Any help is appreciated, thanks in advance.

My GS does that too. I have checked my Tokicos, checked the bushings and everything else. Turns out it is from having lowered suspension, and from the springs being compressed. Sounds like a squirrel battle some days.

best bet is to get under there inspect everything and make sure your shocks are good.

It probably makes so much noise cause the suspension pieces are at least 20 years old.

Most people will tell you the best mod you can do to a 20 year old car is replace all the bushings with a polyurethane master set from a company like Energy Suspension.

what setup do you have now and how low is your car.
mine did the same and turned out the cheap coilover sleeves were rubbing on the inner spring.
also my upper control arms were rubbing on the underside of the top hats or shock tower.
check your upper and lower ball joints.

My car made terrible creaking noises in the front when hitting small bumps. I replaced the bushings that the front upper control arms bolt to and the noise went away.
There are a variety of bushings that could be making noise but for me this fixed it. Note that I had to use a press to remove and install the bushings.

it has Tokico HP Sport shocks with probably fleabay coilovers. pretty sure alot of my noise is coming from the cheap springs & tophats. Got a 3" drop front & 3.5" rear at best guess. I scrape on anything taller than 5-6" tall, and have to get the entry/exit angle on any driveway I encounter correct or end up “beached” lol.

I’m fine with my issues for now tho still working out engine bay issues, then will focus on body work and last suspension & bushings, unless of course something serious happens.
