Hey Guys,
I like the rear hatch visor on our da’s but i have seen a few at meets and some of them dont seem to fit right, some are a little to short on the ends and dont make it all the way across the back glass others are perfect! Does and one have pictures of theres and have to link to where I can buy one that fits perfect?
Thanks in advance,
Jake
Google jdp engineering and get that one. Although im sure you wont and will settle for the cheap ebay model. Your best option is the jdp piece if you want quality and fitment… or oem but good luck with that.

Why are you sure I would get the egay one I made this thread for a reason so I wouldn’t get an ill fitting visor! Yeah I kinda figured finding an oem visor would be a little to hard.
Thanks again!
I got a HIC rear visor which fit really well, as for JDP I haven’t been able to get on there site for a while
Brent,
the jdp website doesnt tell me the price which makes me think its like 500$ haha how much was the HIC?

You have to email them for prices
HIC fitment is so-so from what I’ve seen.
Brent do you have any picture of your fitment? and isnt that for a 3rd gen teg? Dlo if his fitment is good im gonna go with that!
I can snap a few pics this morning but don’t mind the mess it’s get some paint work done
It’s a better fitment one that I seen being produce at the price, I am thinking of purchasing a PasswordJDM one but I like the HIC
Dude my car is always a mess haha, I thought about ordering a pwjdm visor but i want to see what people told me to get i was a perfect fit.
You need to access the JDP website from a non-mobile device. Or have Desktop View enabled on your phone. Otherwise you get a redirect that makes you believe the site is no longer active.
That is correct unified. Its insane how many people cant figure that. Also the jdp rear visor is ~270 shipped.
just buy a real OEM rear visor!
its already been suggested… the issue isnt buying one., its finding one and this guy is obviously not interested in buying quality parts… is hes considering a janky visor made for a different car when the jdp is available then i was correct in my initial post.
as far as im concerned, jdp and oem are the only options for rear visors… im going for jdp because they come in carbon.
Good to know don’t use my laptop to much anymore
Wingbox: theres no way ill find an oem visor in good shape.
Da: i said i would consider HIC if it fit well, if they both fit the same way i wouldnt see the point in spending the same money if it doesnt fit well ill end up with a jdp. just waiting to see a picture of how it fits
well you can see fom the pictures on the website that it doesnt even fit on the car it was made for very well so i can only imagine that poor fitment would carry over onto another car that it WASNT made for. not looking for an argument… just stating facts. if fitment was that big of an issue to you then you wouldnt be looking at parts for OTHER cars to put on yours and you would just buy a porperly fitting part to begin with?
agree?
