what rpm do you guys launch? (Including 2step)

Oh yeah. I’d love to have a K series but cost is a large factor. They definantly have potential to make big power, stock even. Maybe in 5 years I can afford it :stuck_out_tongue: Cause lets face it. With all te K-series these days, the B series will be like the D series today. Old and outdated and not that great compared to the one above.

Tchleung; Im kind of leaning towards hondata since I found out it was’nt as pricy as I thought it was. I just dont know which one though s100, s200, or s300 I do want the 3step (so I can adjust and play with the launch control with out hacking into the program everytime I want to adjust it) and the dual stage boost controller support, which one you think I should use? which one are you using?

Go with the S300. It has everything packed into a neat little box from the previous versions, inus on the fly adjustment of launch control/shfit light. But if you have a laptop, that’s no big deal since you just plug the USB cable right into the ECU and change it. I leave my lappy in the car. Besides, with the S100/S200 you cannot hange any other features unless you buy all the extra stuff to tune it S300 any user can tune right away.

so you think the s200 wont satisfy my needs?

Are you someone that likes to tune things yourself and play with the tune at will? Or are you just looking for an EMS for a tuner to dyno tune

well at first I’ll have a tuner to tune my car and once I feel more comfortable with tuning ill start doing it my self…

7800 RPM with 10 psi on Neptune. 1.6 60’ on 22" M+H slicks. My foot never leaves the floor from the staging lights through the trap.

@@@$%#%#%$#

^Damn! that must be one of the best feeling (beside an orgasm) lol…
whats your set up and time down the 1/4 mile? lsd?

Damn I need to man up and get slicks and get rid of my 2.0 60’s. :frowning:

Yeah and dont forget to get some footy and post it.

Most of my work has gone into drivetrain and suspension. I do use a quaife LSD and F-R traction bars. But I feel the biggest credit goes to my suspension. I purchased custom spring rates for front and rear from Tein and had the shocks re-valved accorddingly. Front shocks have very soft compression and slow rebound to allow the car to hunker down and keep weight over the front wheels. The rear has extrodinarily hard compression and a very quick rebound for minimal weight transfer to the rear. Spring rates will vary for peoples set-ups and power levels. And remember fellas, good motor mounts are also critical for the 60’ department. As far as front wheel drive cars go, and most any other car, your 1/4 mile ends in that first 60 feet. One tenth off of that 60’ time is equal to 2 - 3 tenths off of your ET.
This of course is all in my own opinion.

Nice, yea as far as suspension/drivetrain go. I’ve got everything but slicks :frowning:

F-R traction bar
Omni drag suspension(18K rear)
Quaife
Innovative race/track mounts

Next year when I get slicks and turn up the boost, I’d like to see high 10’s which will be hard, low 11’s are realistic tho.

what about axles…what axles do you guys have?

and

Hondatec38: what was your best time down the 1/4 mile.

Fenco Reman axles.

12.3 at 114mph not that fast by todays standards but #2 on our little list of quickest G2’s on our humble forum.

12.3 at 144mph

Was that a typo? lol

^lol ^^ you have any pics of your set up

Sorry…that was a typo. It is fixed. 114 mph

and here is an entire thread on my set-up: Yaaaay!

Lol I figured so, otherwise I woulda said you must be making 600+ to get those traps at that ET! lol
