I have a 90Ls Integra and i got NGK plugs for them. They came pregaped at 0.038 and some said its ok for them to be at 0.039"-0.043" but which is the best i have never changed the plugs before. Also there old NGK’s where at 0.043 is that good or something my new plugs where at 0.038 i changed it to 0.040 what is better I drive my car hard and red line alot so i look for better spark or more power or something you know so which would be the better gap for ME?
Also i have an MSD ignition Coil High vibration and the msd modified cap too.
I always ran 1mm (.040)
I am at .040 right now is that a good gap or should i go higher what is the difference?
1mm is what the car was made to use. You have that bigger coil so you may be able to use a slightly bigger gap. I don’t think you’ll see any difference in gap unless you’re running turbo or nitrous.
Actually, the g2 was made to run off of a 1.1mm gap. That is why when you buy the plugs the factory recommends they have the -11 at the end of the part number. That -11 is the gap, 1.1mm.
