I guess not.
What replacement bulbs can I get to get a white/blue look?
I find the bulbs I have now on the white/yellow side.
Any suggestions?
I would advise against any bulbs that emulate a white/blue look.
Any bulb that has a tint on the bulb itself reduces light output.
Stick to normal bulbs with no tint on it if you want maximum light output.
If you don’t mind spending a little more money than you would on an average bulb, I hear the Sylvannia Silverstar Ultras are good. I’ve only used regular SilverStar bulbs myself and they were fine.
Where I live cops are really strict about giving tickets for any kind of light that even looks a little blue-ish, if it’s not stock equipment. It’s hard to get that HID look that the new cars have with out using a bulb with a blue filter on it. Of course some people actually try some sort of HID conversion method but again that will get you tickets in my area. The cops are supposedly protecting their claim on blue lighting to designate a police vehicle. Whatever.
The stock bulb is a 9004, I’d recommend sticking with the ones that say 100% street legal as opposed to the “for off road use only” type, depending on how strict the police are where you live and how much you like getting tickets.
Correct. H4 9004
You’ll see for yourself when you go to change them.
Remember do not touch or contact the bulb with your bare hands.
The oil form your hand decrease the life of the bulb.
Where gloves when you take the bulb out of the package.
