what springs?

i hate posting about what to get or what not to get, but i have eibach sportline right now…my agx/gr2’s are in the mail as we speak and i was wondering if i should get new springs to lower a tad more while im changing them anyway. i was thinking neuspeed race but im not sure, ive searched for pics to see what it looksl ike and i do like it but i need to know about spring rates for them so i can see how it will ride. thanks for all your help!

Check on what KYB recommends for those shocks. I know that tokico blues aren’t warranteed if you lower your car more than 1.5" or something like that. They are also the firmest springs I can think of for the g2. Do you have a camber kit already?

thanks for the reply. i dont have a camber kit right now and my camber is within factory spec, however if i got the race’s i would get a front kit and do the washer trick in the rear. someone on this board is selling a barely used set for 100 so i figured since i want to lower a bit more i should just get them. BTW i have sportline so if the warrenty is only for 1.5in i have already broken that so im not that worried about that part.

Neuspeed Race Springs::.

I’ve heard nothing but GREAT and PHENOMINAL responses in regards to Neuspeed Race springs. They’ve got a spring ratio of 400lb per inch in front and 350lb per inch in back. Much more balanced than H&R’s. However, ride quality is sacrificed as the ride is much, much firmer. I’m not sure if your shocks will compensate enough for this or they might altogether wear out much faster due to the stiffer springs. I myself am getting them as my main concern is handling. Get these springs if you’re willing to sacrifice a bit of the ride for incredible handling. By the way, Where did you see pictures of our cars w/ Neuspeed Race springs? Been lookin for them too but haven’t found any.

search for neuspeed race. and sort through some threads

I’m pretty sure the spring rates for neuspeed race springs is actually 500/450, front and rear respectively. Much firmer than the eibachs.

Ooops. My bad

I’m wrong about the spring rates. it IS 500/front and 450/rear. Get Neuspeed.
