Sigh. You would drive a DB2, not a DA6. Just a friendly reminder.
ahh, ok, forgoet all you people know tegs by heart. Most normal people just say “Honda Integra? You meant Acura?”
I meant to say “I drive a 1992 Honda Integra Xsi”… actually even in Japan, unlike skyline series, if I just say DA6, I think not many except for those who own an Integra will know here neither.

Yes they did because my friend has a complete front clip looking at him every day in his garage… it’s a 93 front clip w/B16A in it (OBD-1 2nd gen B16A but with cable tranny - obviously). Also, they never made the “foureyed front” in Japan… all of their DC Integras were all JDM style (like the ITRs) headlights and frontends. The cool thing also, my friend got a rare OBD-1 PR3 ECU with it… not like that matters since it’s exactly the same as a P30
no u’re wrong. They did make it for one year when the DC first came out. It was something like in 93/94, but everybody hated the 4-eyes so they redesigned it

Agreed. I was just wondering which years it was that they had the 4-eyed front on them. Can’t seem to remember. I was thinking it was 94 (at least by then).

E-DA9(no DA9 in Japan btw) is correct. Actual chassis code on my car registration does say E-DA6.
People in Japan refers to chassis code all the time with popular cars. DA6, DC2, EF9, EG6, R33, R36(skylines), etc… I was caught by surprised when I overheard my friends talk about cars…
I think its not that bad of an idea because with the chassis code, you know the generation and roughly when the car was made. Instead of saying “Oh I drive a 1992 Acura Integra GSR”, you just say I drive a DA6. of course, if you drive a Toyota Tercel, then no one will know your chassis code then…
