Battery? Alarm system?

no alarm

TTT

same thing happened to me , i changed the main relay and it started fine after that.

yup, main fuel relay… Had the same problem, replaced mine yesterday and now my car starts everytime!

It’s a 5 minutes job… look under the dash, it’s a black/brown box, disconnect the harness and plug it in the new one! Take a tie wrap and fasten it somewhere! If you really really wanna do it the right way and have a lot of spare time, remove the two kick panels and the center console, unscrew the old one, mess with the bracket and put the new one in place(When I say mess with the bracket, it’s because there was a part number replacement and the one you’ll buy is for a civic, so you’ll need to replace the holding bracket) I didn’t feel like dismantling my whole dash and didn’t had a lot of time, so I did it this way… it’s a lot less trouble!

If it’s actually starting and then dying, it could also be the coil or igniter too. Test those along with the main fuel relay with a multimeter before you go and spend a couple hundred bucks replacing everything…

If you wanna be sure it’s the Main Fuel Relay go out and listen to see if you can hear the fuel pump running when you put the key to the ON position… (do this when the car refuses to start)

Do a search… I posted a lot of info about this lately…
