What Tires Does Everyone Sport?

jUST wanted to take a poll of what brand tires everyone has, i just ordered Yokahama Parada Spec-2, i now have the Bf Goodrich Scorchers which are on there last leg. Didnt seem like they lasted very long, kinda dissapointed, my right rear tire has welps in it, kinda scared to drive on it but have to wait for the Yokahomas to come in.

i have kumho ecsta’s on my 95 GSR rims

i have Yokohama parada spec-2’s on 16 kosei k1’s. pretty good tire, they grip pretty good in the rain, well better than the futura super sports i had on my stock rims.

i had bfgoodrich comp-t/a on the original steelies. i now have michelin pilots as 215/55-15 on gsr wheels. i like the bfg’s and michelins although they are more expensive…but, to me it pays off especially when i am driving alot of highway and will be in snow now. the scorcher t/a are not known for their tread life, more of a show tire. have you checked out the bfg g-force t/a?? the yoko’s should be a decent tire.

Falken ze-512’s on 15" alloys.

yeah i think the bfg are definately just for show, i wish i would have known that before i got them., oh well:confused:

Dunlop SP9000s 205/45/16

195/60/14 BFG comp t/a hr4,
205/60/14 goodyear eagle ga,
215/45/17 ultra hpr,
comming soon… 225/40/17 dunlop sport fm901.

Formerly had Yokohama AVS-I on 14" alloys. Great grip, short treadlife (160), poor in the rain.

Now have Yokohama A520 on 16" rims. Great grip, short treadlife (180), great in the rain.

I just placed an order for a set of Yokohama AVS ES100 in 205/40-17. I’m currently using Yokohama A520’s.

From my understanding, the ES100’s are supposed to be a much better tire than the Spec2’s with only a small price increase.

205/50/15 Pirelli P700-Z

Very nice, grip is good only had them on for a few months, but they seem to be wearing nicely

i have kumho ecsta’s on my 95 GSR rims

which ecsta’s? i have the 711’s…

Yokohama A-509’s on my stock alloys

great tyres, been on the car for around 2 1/2 years, but have only done 20,000kays tops

I’ll probably stick with Yokohama for their replacements, but I’ll need to upgrade to at least 15’s in order to do so.

I just got a set of 205/50/15 Kumho Ecsta 711’s. A great deal at $210 including mounting, balance and tax! Can’t say much about grip yet (all we have in here Florida is Daytona Speedway, Sebring, and the on ramps!) but they seem pretty good in the rain and they definately are a quite tire. They have 320 wear number, but we’ll see. :burnout:

running currently Kumho 711’s not bad for daily use seem to hold up well in wet. and i think they’ll last me quite a while.

before i was running Falken Azenis… LOVED em… didn;t last to long… GRIIIIIIIPPPPEDD!!! i’ll definitely get em again when i get my other rims refinished.
