Sup guy,
Im not usually from thies forum but im trying to help a friend with his car.(Any help would be appreciated)He has posted a thread but has had no responce. He has a 91 teg LS at 160k and its A\T(lightly modded). Im a dsmer and i am not to sure on how reliable thiese cars are so i dont want to lead him to investing in turbo to blow his engine. Iv done minimal research on him car and havent been able to find much. Basically Id like to know If he should go with forced induction?,swap engines?, or would i be worth getting a strocker kit\or forged pistons and rods? And i would be gratefull if i could get some links for information on thiese cars, and a recomended set up. Thanks to you all and have a great thanks giving.

k so we knows hes got a B18a DOHC Non-vtec motor. B18a has more torque then its vtec counterparts cause of longer stroke, but loses a little power on the top end because its non-vtec. All in all its a good motor, im in the process of building up a monster b18a right now. Its really up to his financial status,that controls what he can do. b16 is always a welcome swap. or he could even build up an LS/Vtec. Or stick with the b18a and have the block checked out and all that good stuff and if its good just rebuild it and turbo it. He should do some research!! and see what fits him best
