What to do next

I am wondering what my next suspension mod should be? I have Koni Adjustables, King springs (lowering springs), front and rear solid sway bars with nolathane bushes and a front strut brace, Toyo T1s tyres… I would still like less body roll and perhaps sharper turn in?? Any help is appreciated

Stiffer springs and stiffen up your shocks. Get rid of weight, mostly at the ends of the car if possible (bumper supports, header, spare, etc.). Het heim joints instead of bushings for your sway bars.

May car is already fairly light gutted hatch and it a sohc its a JDM Da5 my shock Koni adjustables are very stiff as is on the lower setting, spring are also fairly rigid… I am told a lower tie bar is the way to go??? I’m not sure, but I was thinking of a bar toward the rear of the car may improve turn in?

aNYONE:naughty:

Whats the spring rate of the King springs?

A rear strut tower brace would help. I’m selling mine for $20, but I don’t think you want to pay for shipping to NZ

Ok, get bigger sway bars, stiffer springs, stiff sidewall tires (azenis or big wheels and low pro’s), or stickier tires. Get polyurethane bushings and bars. Reduce weight more, like I said before, at the ends of the car.

It would, but an upper bar would do more. Spoon makes an excellent bar that looks and feels solid. Ben Ogle, the other person responding to this thread, made some C-pillar braces and Strong bars that I have seen in person. Members with them have reported the rear end of their cars stiffening up significantly. This would help reduce your understeer.

Turn-in performance can be helped with alignment settings. You may want to search a bit for some autocross settings that may work for you.

Thanks C pillar where is that??

I hate to do this to you man, but :search: or just look down at the bottom of Ben’s signature.

i dont think he wants my help. But who cares. an 1/8" toe out on the front will help turn in. If its understeer then stiffen up the rear springs and/or sway bar.

C-pillar bar goes between the upper rear seatbelt mounts. Check the sig for pics.

Ben

Are ok man thanks for your help:idea:
