I know you guys dont know me well. Been @ hondacivicforum for quite some time and usually just lurk here. Anyhow, I have a em1 swapped DB7, and a b1 DA. The sedan is my daily, and I have been buying parts for it lately instead of concentrating on fixing the DA. I suppose I have lost interest. My question is this. Do I part ways with the DA and pursue a new project, or do I gut it and make it exciting? Like I said, I have a nice daily (DB7). But the DA is a special edition with excellent interior. It would be a shame to gut it. But very exciting. I want to spice up the DA build so that I will stay with it, but I also want to find another ae86 and make it the car that my last one never seemed to be. What do I do? The prob with keeping both my Integras nice is that theyre never nice enough. Bye bye monies. If the DA was a slut for abuse though… that could be a different story…
Keep the DA. I had a DB8 for 3 years, a DA for 6 years and was by far my favorite. The 3rd generation integra, in my opinion, has nothing on the DA. The DA, in my opinion, was the best generation for the integra. Others may disagree, but to me there is nothing better than riding in a DA. I’m actually going to test drive a DB2 tomorrow to see if I am going to buy it.
DA/DB is better in my opinion. I driven a dc2 and didn’t like how everything was inside. But they do look good with JDM fronts though…But keep the DA/DB…
G2s are a becoming non-existent nowadays. You will always see a G3.
Will I get my face flamed off for ripping out SE interior that’s in remarkably good shape? I just don’t have the funds to build two nice dailies. The dc stays no matter what. I want to find a way to enjoy the da though.
Pictures of the Special?
gut the interior and put it in storage. or you can sell it. or you can slowly take your time on building it.
I will try to post pics when I get off work. I get off at 10pm cst. Hopefully I can snap some pics with my flashlight since it will be so dark. The interior is black with like khaki accents. The seats are in excellent shape.
