so anyone got any insight on my mystery “9” class car ?
Try making a thread in the general topic with a unique title. More people will see it and might know as I am kind of confused with it that number nine. I even brought out the helms and the vin thread to see but no luck.

the 10 character of the vin tells the year and yours is M so its a 91
the alpabet is used from 1980 A started in 1980 B 1981 C and so on. but IOUZQ aint used cause they look similar and then in 2001=1 2002=2

I checked the OEM owners manual and found nothing about the number 9

no abs
no leather it has the Ls-S two tone tan/black i beleive Ls-S is the only model to come with this interior combo

american since it has automatic seatbelts.
if its so mysterious i wish it was in better shape lol could be worth something lol j/k i doubt cars are like mistakes from the mints where mis-struck coins sell for millions lol
the 9 throws everyone off haha. it seems like the only thing it’s closest to is LS-S. i like that 2 tone seats too! question: what color is the exterior?
Black and yeah the interior is prob my favorite thing just cause not many have seen it and very few own it. When I part the car out I’ll probably store them at least for a little bit and see if I get another g2 before deciding on selling them
seems like an LSS to me. has everything i have but mines 5 speed manual. we have everything a GSR has but without the b17. rims as well. cant be a GS.
GSR has ABS my LS-S doesn’t. so i wouldn’t say they have everything a GSR does minus the b17. also they don’t have the assist handles (oh shit handles) in the back seats.

salvage title doesnt CHANGE the VIN the VIN is unique to your car and noone elses
my 1st gen2 turned out to be from canada. i learned this from the fuse box at first IIRC. it had automatic seatbealts.
