I bought a da not too long ago and the tim on the hatch only says acura and integra. I was wondering if there was any way i could figure out what it was. Its automatic, has leather seats, non vtec b18, oem spoiler, moonroof…If theres any other info that will help figure this out ill be glad to look.

Check your VIN number - It should be JH4DA9xy…, where x is determined by whether it is auto or manual, and y is the trim level. 4=RS, 5=LS, 6=GS, 7=GS, 8=GSR or LSS, depending on whether DA9 or DB2 was earlier in the VIN.

the VIN is JH4DA947. I really couldnt get the second half of lsteg’s reply but i guess i have a gs. well theres the front, rear, dash, driver side door and seats. It has fog lights as well fyi. i dont know if thats normal, but from my experience its not. thanks for the help guys.:rockon:

all 2nd gen integras have fog lights, they’re the farthest interior of the headlights.
correct. the last digit 7 means you have a GS. if the last digit was 8, you would have to check to see if you have DA9 or DB2. if DA9, 8 means ls special edition. if DB2, 8 means GSR.

Yeah, i was actually surprised at the good condition of the seats when i bought it. i think it was reopolstered(sp?) before i bought it. you can see(maybe not in the pic) some sloppy stitching on the sides. i just wish the damn thing was 5-speed. theres a DA down the street that looks pretty much like this one and its 5-speed, and for 2,200. too bad i still gotta pay off this car. still owe by dad 2500.
wait, I just checked my VIN and it’s JH4DA9361LS008845. it doesn’t appear to fit any of those…
it does have a salvage title, could that have something to do with it?

i know this thread is old but my DA doesn’t seem to fit the profile lol, i’m pretty sure its an LS-S by the two tone tan/black interior, has sunroof, power windows, no abs, no power locks.
its a 91 vin is DA939 so wtf lol list only goes to 8 haha

Can’t be the right VIN. Post up the full VIN #. On the VIN plate on the dash sometimes numbers can look like something they aren’t. An 8 can look like a 9 or 7 can look like 1 and so on. Check the firewall for bigger numbers to make sure you are right or look on the inside door jam sticker just to make sure you are reading it correctly.

Well the title could be wrong. Slim chance but it could be. If all your VIN numbers on the car itself match, then we could have a nice little puzzle to figure out.
