what a i ment as functional was that you cant really hook up anything to the back side of the duct like a air duct to flow or pick up air. I dont think it has any brackets or places to drill a screw, it pretty much flows air and fasses it under the car as it is.

Mines actually a lip off a dc2 type r, was on when i got the car, seen them for DA fitment on ebay for $30 though ages ago!!

Here is a picture of my JDP lip. It is the OE2 in carbon. He also sells rear visors. 
I need a lip but what kills it for me is shipping- freaking things don’t weigh anything but shops still charge $100 or more for shipping
