Wzup fellas…my A/c stopped working today. At first the light didnt want to go on but pressed and depressed a couple times and it came on. After a while I tried to turn my A/C on again and nuthin. the light nor cold air comes out. I do remember a couple weeks ago some mist ( i hope it was mist ) came out of my vents. Do I have a shot condensor, a bad connection or is it time for a recharge?
If you got the “mist”, it’s likely time for a recharge, but get the system leak-checked first, as your evaporator could be shot, hence the “mist” (actually, water vapor).
Run a search for A/C recharge and you will find the best way to do it (tip: it involves www.autorefrigerants.com )

You can actually get Acura to check your system; they have a device similar to a tire pressure gauge they use for A/C systems. This procedure takes all of 10 seconds to do.
