Today I took a turn too sharp and started sliding. I hit the rear right wheel on the curb and its bent in. No other damage except the rims are a little scraped up. Any first thoughts on what is bent? Also could the rim be ok? TIA
Its possible u bent your knuckle. i did the same thing a saturn i had and the knuckle was bent.
how much did that cost?
same thing happened to me yesterday…except…my car doesn’t drive…my axle seems to be snapped/ripped cv’s-it’s at the shop right now. I was taking a turn too fast hit a curb-stupid (suspension mods-agx, gr2, skunk2, 2 rear strut bars, camber) what caused problem: ignorance and bald tires.
it ran me about $20 bucks at the junkyard and installed it myself.
Depending on how hard you hit, check your hub, rotor/tophat assembly, wheel bearing. Thankfully, the rear semi-trailing link setup is very sturdy on our cars, but check your lower control arm, bushings, and mount points just to be safe.
