I just finally put my winter tires on, the steelies. When I took it out today, the wheel started jerking to the right, seemed to correspond with the wheel rotations.
It’s not a constant pull, but more of a jerk, it’ll actually move the wheel in my hand.
I think it’s gotta be the tires, is my front right steely f*ckued up?
Has anyone had a similar situation? I’d need some advice, it really feels screwed up.
I might switch one of the tires from the back to the front and see what that does, but they’re balanced so I dunno if this is a good idea.
I had a simular problem… It turned out to be my radius rod bushing was missing causing the whole front right suspension to move pretty much freely. Its the bushing that connects to the x-member… HTH

I’ve got a similar problem, although mine jerks to the left mostly, and sometimes to the right. also, i feel some resistance when i turn, as though it’s pulling against the turn. I just had it aligned and i asked the guy about it, he said it’s the springs (H&R Sport) and that’s as good as it will get. Any ideas?
I just swapped my front right steely, for my alloy rim. The Jerking was completely gone. Sweeeeet!
But I still wonder what’s wrong with the wheel, something’s fukd. I didn’t see anything wrong when I popped off the tire, the only funny thing is the disc was unusually hot to the touch. I have fat brakepads up front, and my discs are like new, so that’s wierd. I’d only driven for about 10 minutes.
But Im sure glad I fixed that, felt like my freakin wheel was gonna fly off.
Good to know…i was thinking my tires might be the problem, but i only noticed the problem after I installed my camber kit. Still, i have some pretty bad camber wear. I’m gonna switch to steelies for winter, hope that helps…
could be, although the tires are reasonably new. my instinct tells me it’s the toe settings, since it started when i installed the camber kit. it’s troubling that the “alignment guru” says it’s the springs…
