There is a squeaking noise coming from my front left wheel up through about 40 mph. It sounds alot like brakes squeaking. It does it anytime the wheels are moving less than 40 whether I’m accelerating or not. I pulled the wheel and sprayed brake cleaner all up in it, but didn’t help. Do I have a bearing going bad or what? Thanks.
If its squeaking its possible you have a warped rotor. u can cure that by getting it cut or better yet replaced.
Wheel Squeak
Its possible you have a bad wheel bearing. I would suggest jacking the car, rotate the wheel and see if you can hear the squeak you describe. You may then want to pull the caliper and see if the squeak is still there. Ive seen bearings go bad at 100K, but mine are still good at 475K.
