So i’ve recently done two refurbish jobs on two different sets of wheels and would like to hear any opinions or suggestions. I’ve recently been going back and forth between either of these sets or some lower offset 15’s or 16’s. I’m 31 and just got back into Tegs after 10+ years. Could always only afford a daily and need a truck, so i had a cr-v for a while and now a 4wd tacoma that i’ll probably never get rid of. It hauls Tegs really well anyway. So now, i have some more time and some more freedom to have a project car, so i bought two tegs. A 90 DB1 RS and a 91 DA LS. I’ve decided to build the 2dr into a summer fun car with some better parts and use the db as more of a daily, it has more rust anyway. The DA i have is a white LS with full black interior swap done so far. Future plans include H&R’s, koni yellows, brakes, and wheels for this summer and motor stuff next. I like the look of the smaller, wider wheels, but maybe that’s a little too gangster for me as i want to do some canyon carving and have a nice handling car. I’m also not sure on the whole fender rolling thing. So now i’m leaning towards one of the sets of 17’s i’ve redone. I got both sets for less than $100 by the way. Anyway i’ll post some before & afters and would love some feedback. Here’s the before and after pics. Thanks.
