Im looking in to getting a set of wheels but im not sure on the size/offset, and tire fitment of them.
Wheel size and offset is 16x8 +20, any any ideas on good tire size. I was thinking along the of the lines of a 195/40-16, or a 205/40-16 any help will be much appreciated
hey man i might be a lil crazy but my wheels are 16x8 +0 offset and im running a 205/40/16 but im gonna switch to the 195’s the 205 didnt give it quite the tuck i wanted
lsvteceg do u have pictures of the 205’s on your car, whats the camber like and how much did u have to roll the fenders to get them to fit. nizzan i only know of two brands of the top of my head that have the 195/40 spec. any insite on different brands and how much do u think the strech would be on 8" rim with the 195’s. pictures of da/db’s with the some stretch would be helpful
i will upload a couple pics in the morn. my camera is dead. had to roll the fenders quite a bit lol the camber looks hella sick but there is a lot of camber
stock outer diameter yes, but with oddly proportioned wheel/tire package.
instead of fitting tires that were meant for that wheel, this whole hellaflush tire-stretch crowd puts ill fitting tires to fit the “sickest” hellaflush setup on their hellafucked ride.
think of it as the male equivalent of squeezing into a really cute pair of shoes to go out with your girlfriends. they may not fit right, or be comfortable at all, but thats part of the pain. who cares what your ruining by squeezing in, you LOOK GOOD (to who? blind people maybe…)
So I was thinking of getting all of my suspension arms and strut bars and whatnot powder-coated hot pink to make a grotesquely ironic homage to color fashions of the early 90s (Aztec Green car). So when I do that, these are the guys I need to show the pictures to in order to get praise for it, right?

i say make the wheels pink and the arms n bars in yellow.
make sure you get a couple ironic stickers of all the currently cool forums for the back window
e: make sure the stickers are angled perfectly too.
it depends on the side wall of the tire cuz its supose to stretch. like a falken azeni and a ziex512 saqme size same rim wont look the same but i would go 195/45/16or even 185/45/16 8" is not that wide and ur offset is not that low
I got the same size wheels on my whip, 16x8 +20 offset
At first, I was rockin’ 205/40’s but there was too much poke for my liking, wheels looked too small and speedometer was 6-7MPH off. My car is not slammed either cuz I like to actually drive my car and not have to worry about every pothole and other road hazards.
Switched to 205/45’s and I’m much happier with this set up. Car is lowered on H&R Race Springs so its about 2.25in - Front and 2.00in - Rear. Camber is minimal and has been set within factory specs.
