today when i was driving home all of the plastics under the well ripped out … i was wondering is it safe to drive it like this…??? also the wires that go to the corner lights are exposed now… what do i do help!!!
The wheel well plastic doesn’t come out easily, but I wouldn’t be too worried about it. I’ve been driving without mine for the last couple months, no problems yet. I’m not saying it’s the safest or best thing to do, but it shouldn’t hurt to drive it temporarily as long as you’re reasonably careful (I’d avoid off-roading or anything

u talking about the mud guards right? well its just a little of protection from debris. if the wires are loose and hanging just tie it to something. how did it rip out? was it loose already then fell off? if the tire ripped it out (wheels to big) check if its rubbing the fenders. i dont have the driver side mud guard and it runs fine. just made sure my side marker wires was secure to something.
your talkin bout the inner wheel well plastic thing right? mine ripped out once too but i had to put it back in cause i have a cai and it was exposed. i bolted and washerd it back in so it will never rip out again.
if you have recently taken it off while installing a CAI, maybe the screw and washer fell out. It happend to me once. I was driving and I heard a loud bang. Just make sure when you put it back in that you make sure all of the screws are in the holes correctly. Sometimes the legs of the piece that the screw goes into bend and don’t go in properly. HTH
i think the proper term is like inner fender or fender liner or something along those lines. its there mainly to keep your car nice and rust free. also if youre runnin a cai its a good idea to have one…
you could probably get away without it, even in rain, if you avoid puddles

I believe they are also known as splash gaurds and they are around $30 or $40 at the dealer.

if the dealer cost that much i might as well get it from the dealer… because junkyard quoted me 30 bux too>>>? i also found my plastic piece tonight on the freeway when i was coming home the plastic piece is all fawkt up…

Thanks .I kinda meant where exactly. I’ve cruised the local junkyards.And I’ve yet to see an Integra. I’ll Check out acura automotive parts though.
