wheels problems

ok so i had the gsr fat fives and my car was quit and smooth, i traded them for a dif set of wheels and now i cant stand driving it, if i give it gas to hard in first and second itll turn the whole steering wheel to the left, and it now sounds like my right rear wheel bearing is taking a shit, and going from 0 to 35ish and slowing down theres soooo much road noise up front its vibrating and feels like its gonna break, tires have even tread

any ideas why all a sudden i put these new wheels on everything went to shit?

does it need balanced? out of rotation? alighnment? bent wheel? bad tires?

same tires as before? are they directional? they could have been mounted up wrong and if you had been driving on them before, directional tires can do that if they were worn unevenly. could be out of balance to. should be an easy fix.

Alignment could be off. Small adjustments do make a big difference. I would check all of your asked questions starting with the easiest. But like what c_mack9 said, the directional tires could do that too.

they are 205/45/16 i had 15s before but if its just the tires, why would it make a bad wheel bearing sound?

Depending on brands of tires, they do make a bad wheel bearing sound. I have on cheap cheap tires that came with rims I bought and man do they make hella road noise.

Also, try re-balancing all the tires/rims and see if the shaking persist. Like others have said… try the cheapest fix first then work your way up.

I say check all your rims and see if they are bent and if not… trying balancing your tires again.

definitely try re-balancing. an imbalanced tire will cause shimmy. you could also try rotating from front to back

its not a shaking like unbalanced its more like chapping when going from 0 to 40ish and 40ish to 0 but other than that its not noisey besides the RR wheel bearing sound

you need an alignment and you would be good. if you car is dropped then you will need a camber kit. if your car is low that is the reason your wheel is turning to the left hard. try that out and im pretty sure you will be happy with the results and you will like the ride with the 16s.

but with the fat fives it never did any of this stuff i dont get it

thats exactly why i say its probably uneven wear on the tires. rotated them back to front and check that out. if its still the SAME problem, get them rebalanced. if its about time for tires anyway i would just go ahead and replace them with 205/40/16 and be done with it.
