Hey everyone! Know where to buy an oil pressure sending unit?? Hopefully cheaper than Honda dealership?? My oil light is staying on. Also its for a 96 spec itr engine.
Thanks,
grab a couple from the junk yard or advanced auto sells em.
the way the stock pressure sending unit works is when there is no oil pressure sensed -5psi the light will come on, if there is no oil pressure sending unit, there shouldnt be a light. it should be open. meaning if you have this light, the wire is grounded out or your sending unit is bad. i removed mine because by the time this light comes on, your engine is toast already. i run an aftermarket gauge to monitor oil pressure.
