after i cut my skirts, i test fitted them, they fitted ok, but there was a problem, there are gaps between where i cut the skirt and the body. i was wondering are there anyways of fixing this…?
i was thinkin of fibreglass but i dont know yet…
any ideas?

Any pics after installation?

after pics … ?

yeah i would like to see some pics too.

i just picked up some g3 skirts the other day and will be attempting this sometime soon.

the only reason im mentioning this is because there aren’t any after installation pics and the thread where the pics were is gone.

is there a step by step tread around here? i swear i saw one, but yeah i came across a set of dc side skirts and it would be cool if i could get these things on. so could someone send me a link or something that’ll tell me how to do this

unless all i have to do is cut that top part off like in the picture on the first page. how about length? would i have to cut it shorter or no. please help.

thanks

You don’t cut them short. They fit as is. lengthwise anyway.

Just cut the top portion as described in the pic. Cut the tabs in the back off too. Looking @ the pic. & the actual skirts explains it all.

Drill pilot holes for the screws. Use silicone in the holes BEFORE putting in screws. Use 2 screws in both front & back. use 4 screws on the bottom.
Washers can be utilized as well.

Attach skirts to the sides of car with some silicone adhesive & double-sided tape. Put the tape on first, then throw down a bead of adhesive. This will prevent sagging. You’ll have to rough up the suface a bit first of course; to promote adhesion. Wipe away any excess adhesive before it drys. Black rubber auto sealant works great. (will seal leaky headlights great too!)

It’s fairly easy to do, comes out lookin’ great. A cheap alternative to WW or other brand names. Thats the beauty of Honda; everything swaps over!!
