where to cut springs

i know cutting springs is pretty ghetto but i also think having my back end lower than the front out ways it. i only want to just maybe cut one coil off. my question is which side do i cut off of? the top of the spring where there are tight coils or the bottom where the oils are farer apart?

Hey, you said it!! I don’t recommend doing this but you want to cut one of the inactive coils. Those are the ones that rest upon one-another.
