Just wondering where is a good place to get a b16a sir2 hydro complete swap? Also has anyone tried the skunk2 cams adn sprockets? Because Modacar.com has a good deal on the cams and adj. gears. Also how about a pulley set?
for the swap… the hydro wont work on the g2 but if you already know that here are some site that sell em:
http://www.mmrusa.com/index.htm
http://www.ardperformance.com/store/shop.cgi/page=framehome.html
http://www.nippon-motors.com/
From what i have heard skunk2 is only good for their intake manifold. I wouldnt trust their cams or sprockets. Try crower for cams and aem for timeing gears. Also modacar.com is a good site to look at but most of their stuff is overpriced and can be found cheaper.
I ordered my B16A OBDI SiR long block from hondamotorsonline.com but they also sell complete swaps. I’m still waiting on it, but so far everything has gone well.
i got my longblock from HMO as well. great service, called me up after he got delivery confirmation. turns out the engine had been serviced while still in japan, and had gotten a new head gasket. there was coolant in the oil because they didn’t torque the head down enough. not the fault of HMO, it’s careless servicing by someone in Japan. could happen to anyone really, totally up to chance. got the block and head pressure tested and both are still in factory spec! so the engine is in great condition, just stupid serviceman.
Check it when it comes.
Thanks for the advice. I was planning on getting a written compression test by a shop. Can’t be too safe, no matter how much good stuff you hear about a motor distributor/shop.

You’re right about skunk products, but crower VTEC cams are complete GARBAGE. Get CTR’s or something like that.
