Is it possible to put the resonator at the midpipe of the exhaust or would it end up at the axle back? My exhaust is fairly loud and I don’t want cops to hassle me
By the way is the resonator gonna make my system quieter by at least 50%? I have an axle back 2.25" piping and stock midpipe. I also have the apex’i n1 muffler
i don’t think there’d be room for a resonator after your rear axle, since the muffler sits back there. best place to put it is after your cat somewhere. resonators are different, but i’m sure any competent muffler shop will have a variety of different resonators to reduce noise…

but there’s a room on my axle back since my muffler sits at the end near the rear bumper, like how 94-01 integras so i was thinking i could put the resonator right where the original muffler was
but I would ask a muffler shop and see if I can fit it somewhere after cat

id like some info on this too. i hate how the muffler looks with the silencer in, but its WAY too loud w/o it
I guess not to many people have done this, would a resonator be restricting the exhaust flow?
i have no clue whats inside the exhaust resonator, but if its empty like the intake, then it shouldnt restrict it so much as just messing up the smooth flow. if it did i dont mind i wanted some low end back anyways =P
if you just got axel back shoulndnt your stock resonator still be on.
