Hey, I read the teamintegra how to page, but the DCs aren’t the same as DAs (as far as I can tell). I am just asking where do you stick the cable through from the engine bay back to the inside of the car? I don’t work on cars, this is the first “mod” I will be doing on my newly purchased DA. Anyone have pics?
Sorry if this question has been asked before, I just joined the forum and I have indeed spent my first 7 days looking for a picture or a more detailed instruction.
Now route the cable through the inside of the engine compartment towards the firewall. I had to go over the strut tower because there wasn’t enough slack to go around it.
The best place I found to drill into the firewall is right next to where the clutch cable goes in. I drilled about 2 inches to the drivers side of the clutch cable. Make the hole large enough to fit the end of the cable through.
I read that much of it. But I really don’t know where the clutch cable is

NVM…
I did this in one of my EG hatches a few years back because it has the same design with the cable. I ran the cable under the upper lip of the fender that the bolts go through. I went all the way up and then right up at the fire wall i stuck it out the side into the engine bay and then through the fire wall. It was out of sight up untill the little bit near the fire wall. Just a little tip for you.
