Which catback to buy?

I’ve done much research, and have been wanting to install a catback exhaust system on my car. I can’t decide which to buy. I own a 91 teg, and have intake and headers already installed. Now skunk2 only makes catback systems for 92-93 integras, so modification would be required for that to be put on mine, but im not sure what modification is required.

I am trying to decide on buying that skunk2, and doing the modification if i can get detailed information on what to do, or Espelir’s jgt500 series part #e029. I plan on also buying a test pipe to replace the catalytic converter. So, if someone could assist me on what modification would be required on the skunk2, or if i should go for espelir’s jgt500, i would appreciate it. Thanks.

U shoulda posted this in gen discussion…

But anyway whay are u so set on these two? What others have you considered?

I’d invest in one of tanabe’s many offerings for our cars. I did.

Tanabe? I’ve looked into it, and have thought about it, but skunk2 and espelir ive heard a lot of good things about, my friend has a 93 teg with skunk2 and it sounds awesome. I just wanted to see what modification would be needed for the 92-93 skunk2 system to fit my 91.

I have a Greddy SP2 and I absolutely LOVE it. It has a great dep, mellow tone and isn’t too loud or “ricey” at all. It costs a bit more than most systems, but I think it is worth it. I have also heard the the RS*R Ex Mag 2 is awesome as well, although it is not made of stainless like the Greddy.

I like the HKS Hiper. It has a 90-91 specific application. Look into it.

I have looked into the HKS systems, but they aren’t full stainless, and i want a full stainless system.

You would need to cut about 2" off the B pipe to make it fit. Any muffler shop can do this. I had a 92-93 DC Sports exhaust on my 90

just one question. why do you have two topics regarding the same subject?

Drunk at the time, sorry.

2" off the b pipe? Ok, i know what that is lol, ill admit i dont know much, but yeah i know what that is. And i’d have to get the flange rewelded on, so thatll run me about 20 bucks haha.

Reason i was asking for the modification was because i know the 92 and 93 integras have different cat and header lengths then the 90 and 91.
