Got my AGX adjustables and tokico blues in today so i’ll be droppin my car an inch with the eibach pros. Should i slap the Eibach sticker on my car :D. Now if only NOPI would ship my aluminum shift knob and clear corners i could start makin my teg look sexier. I should’ve ordered the shocks and the accessories on the same day, i ordered the shocks a day later and they’re all ready here, while the knob and clear corners haven’t even been shipped yet. Ahh well, i guess it’s better to get those broken springs replaced than gettin rid of that nasty yellow lens. [/B]
why spend so much money on agx if you’re only dropping it an inch-barely noticeable from stock…?
AGX is like 85 bucks a piece, whereas tokico blues are 70. I’ve heard good things about the AGX’s so i didn’t mind spendin the extra 30 bucks for adjustables
hey, I’m about to make a dicision on shocks with only 1" drop, what should I get?? I was thinking Koni yellow but they are expensive no? Is there anybody who ships shocks with springs already fixed on them?
you don’t really need koni’s if you’re only dropping an inch, if you want adjustable go with kyb agx they’re only 85 bucks from nopi. But konis are probably the best, hence the price, but for only an inch drop i dont see spendin that extra 60 bucks or so for konis. I don’t think anyone ships shocks and springs all ready assembeled, probably for safety reasons. It’s not that hard to do it yourself, i don’t think you even need a spring compressor since you’re using lowering springs. But if you don’t wanna do it yourself just take it to a mech or local honda or acura, shouldn’t run much more than $250 for them to put everything on.
If you wanna get a good exhaust, go to www.groupbuycenter.com and search greddy. You can get a MX exhaust system, one of the best for the tegs, for 472 shipped. That’s a really good price for cat back.

…Because he is using springs with a significantly higher spring rate, and therefore the word load of the shocks is increased. Hence the need for more durable, stronger shocks.
Gspeed is right on this point. The new springs have a higher spring rate, meaning they need stronger damping to control their motion… My old shocks lasted about 8 month and now the rear and knocking like hell, I can feel they are fatigue… gone… the fronts will follow soon I’m sure… if the difference is 60 bucks in total between teh yellos and the AGX, well, it is about 10% more, so why not… but if the difference is 60 per shock, then I will consider the AGX. The question is, are the AGX designed to go with lowered springs??
Integra Style, who is the woman over here??? It realy doesn’t matter does it? over here we are all teg owners who care about their machines, irrespect of color, or gender or anything else, no??
Nevertheless, a chick who takes care of her ride may have a better understanding of some of the stupid things man do!!!

Whoa… he was just joking… but you are right it shouldnt and doesnt matter about who the person is as long as they do take care of thier cars. I say we start a new Integ Repo Business (I.R.B.) and anyone we catch abusing them will have them taken away…lol. Besides, you can NEVER have too many Integras!
miss teg:-*
id still recommend agx for any height, including stock. not so much for the adjustability, but even as they wear out, you can bump it up; as opposed to non-adjustables and replacing em. sometimes i feel soft, sometimes i feel stiff. a lot of the time im stiff.
why is this thread getting so many views anyways =P
agx are pretty good for that price. i recently got agx front and gr2 for rear with eibach pros. there pretty nice and comfy. would of gotten yellows if i had the money to spend but i dont. only thing for the agx is that they dont got it for our cars rear. i don’t know of any sites to recommend but mostly i read people getting it at tirerack. i got mine from this place around me. dont want to get something online and if something wrong with them i would even have to wait longer and might have to pay shipping etc…
www.nopionline.com has them for 86 each i believe plus shipping. Then i picked up tokico blues for the rear for 68 a piece. Shipping was like 15-20 bucks, and they got here in 2 days using ground  They’re in virginia too, while i’m in michigan, so that’s pretty darn good. Still have yet to put them in with the eibach pros, been too busy.
