I would like to get either the Tein S tech, or the H&R Sport springs for my tokico illuminas. The teins are about 2" lower and the h&r’s are 1.8". Which spring would give me a good ride, not too hard, not too soft?
Go with the H&R sports, they’re comfortable and still stiff enough for hard cornering. The teins are actually softer than stock, which might be comfortable but I would be afraid of bottoming out :bang:
I have a set of H&R sport springs that Ill be selling in about 3 weeks. They’ve been installed for 7 months, but my teg was in the body shop for 5 of those months and then it sat in the garage during the winter. The springs probably only saw about 300 miles… I can let them go for $85 shipped
lmk if your interested massie420@hotmail.com
Im def interested!! Any pics of how your car looked with them on (how low it is)?
still have them??
i have cash in hand…if you still have them i will buy them from you right now. …also if you have pics of them when you take them off that would be nice too…i emailed you too… msniff85@aol.com
what a fucking whore. read my post you asshole.
Yeah I wouldn’t recomment the S-Tech’s. I had them, and on stock tires (195’s) it dumped my car down so there was a tight finger gap up front, and loose finger gap in the rear. Too low for what i wanted. Rode awesome though. very comfortable. but did bottom out on shit. Replaced them with Ground Controls, and am very happy with them.
How are sprint springs?
My H&R Sports are sweet, I love them! They are on Koni Yellows and the ride is firmer than stock but not harsh at all, very good ride and they corner well too. Here’s a picture:
I like them. Nice car btw.
I think the spring rates are 276 front and rear.
actually they are 340/186
still have them?
yep, I ran into some problems with FedEX, they lost some parts that I planned on installing while I did the coilovers, had to file a claim… waiting for my money still.
