Which O2 sensor for LS-Vtec?

Ok apparently my O2 sensor has gone bad and I would like to know which would work better for my LS-V. I was using the 1 that was on my LS, was wondering if I should get the vtec O2 sensor or just the LS 1 is fine…

I’m not sure if it’s the same, but when i went to Pepboys to ask for an O2 sensor they asked me if I had a GSR or LS.

TIA
Ken

u want to get a o2 sensor for your LS.

how are u using the stock header from an LS on ur ls/vtec?

or are you putting the o2 sensor on the cat?

depends on which generation your head is…

If the head is a 1st gen B16 head, then you’ll need the one wire O2 sensor from any 88-91 Civic/CRX, or 90-91 Integra.

If the head is OBD-1/OBD-2, then you will need the 4 wire 02 sensor, in that case, any 92+ Honda/Acura 02 sensor will work.

you can switch injectors & the distributor on an obd-1/2 head & make it work for a non-obd car & vice versa.

You’re correct…

What I meant to say was, depending on what computer, wiring harness, components, you’re using…if you’re using OBD-1/2 ECU, harness, distributor, injectors, you will need the 4 wire 02 sensor…if you’re using the obd-0 (90-91 G2’s), then use the one wire 02 sensor…

Thank you sir for clarifying,

how are u using the stock header from an LS on ur ls/vtec?

I am using a DC stainless-steel header for a 92-93 GSR…

So is there a different between a GSR O2 and a LS O2?

Thanks
