which sway bars are best?

has anyone used ADDCO sway bars?

having a hard time finding the grey ST bars and not sure about Progress since they aren’t a direct replacement:shrug:

is it even worth it to use aftermarket sway bars for a daily driver?

GOT THE ST GREY ONES - INSTALLED

bigger sways feel good
just get the st green ones?
same shit dude its not that noticable underthecar if u have stock or stock canister style and not a n1 style exhuast

my vote arc 21mm:Phaha

i just bought the ST’s yesterday, sould be at my house tommorrow, got them through Summit.

of you are worried about them being green just paint them no biggie.

After lots of researching about which one to get, I recently bought and installed a ST rear sway bar (yes it’s green) on my bone stock '93 LS. All i can say is it made a BIG noticable difference in cornering. It was a night and day difference.
Even though my current shocks and springs absolutely suck, the ST sway bar was still money well spent.

FYI, i don’t know about others but it was a major pain in the ass to install. Be sure you know exactlly which way it installs BEFORE removing your old one. I read the directions step-by-step but still had some issues that wasted a lot of time.

oh yeah… i found the best price at www.optionimports.com
they also shipped it quick.

http://www.streetbeatcustoms.com/sst52150.html got my rear sway bar on that site on my 1st DA and it was NICE, ill be getting one again soon

the ST sways, through summitracing they were only $229.95 and with 2nd day air shipping brought the total to $261.90, they even gave me a bonus $15 for my next purchase

a can of spray-paint can take care of that green, Bret.

a friend of mine has it on his … he said its awesome on the corners

doesn’t anyone know anything about the ADDCO bars?

i have the st front and rear swaybars and the install was easy. and there a good product for the buck…

hmmm, I wonder how hard it would be to buy bar and bend it.
It would be alot cheaper.

Maybe I’ll make sway bars for you guys after I finish designing strut bars
JPJPro comming soon.

is there a difference between the grey and green st sway bars?

only diff. is color

btw, I did get the ST bars - just haven’t got 'em on yet

Hmm I would love some nice swapbars,

I am really tempted to begin making swaybars and selling them for half the price, along with the other G2 Integra products I hope to make.

I’d just have to get me hands on one.

So, how much larger are the ST bars over stock?

I imagine your not going to be able to just “bend” a bar into a sway bar. Bending metal creates weak points and even if you can manage to bend a bar and make it fit nobody in their right mind would buy it off you. I don’t know how the companies do it but I would take a guess and say they at least heat treat the metal afterwards to reduce the chance of it cracking/breaking completly which could be a very bad situation at high speed cornering.

So, how much larger are the ST bars over stock?

They are 24mm compared to 22mm in the front and 19mm compared to 14.7mm in the rear.

The difference is definitely noticeable and worth the money.

I can vouch for the ST rear sway bar, very nice on turns.

they really are that noticable of a difference???

what if yu made the bars… and then reinforced the bends with some good arc welding? yu would prolly have ot have a damn good hand with the welder to fuse it together better and add a but more mass to it. but then yud have to clean it up some im sure.
