Thats weird because I have two Integras, one where the glass retracts into the body, and another where the glass slides up out of the car. Can anyone explain this? Ones a 90 LS and the other is a 91 GS.
My explanation is this. The one that slides out over the roof instead of inside it is an aftermarket sunroof. The other is factory.
The way I understood the difference between a moon roof and sunroof was like chsscott: A moonroof has glass and a shade whereas a sunroof is just a moving body colored panel. I could be wrong.

You should look at the moving parts, wind deflector, glass color, and anything that could be different between the 2 tegs. I highly doubt that the 2 sun/moonroofs could be same, whereas 2 factory sunroofs would. I know that on the G2’s the moonroof goes under the roof and between the headliner. The G3’s moonroof goes up and over the roof to save headroom lost by the sloping rear hatch. Maybe your 2 tegs have different headliners too?
