I am running 205/60/15 Bridgestone Potenze RE92’z on 15’FatFives. I am going to need new tires very soon and was wondering what would be the deal for someone without a high budget.
A good deal…like $50 a tire or $80 a tire? Do you want good longetivity or more of a high-grip tire? I’d suggest (for daily streetability) a set of BFG GForce Sport tires. Also, go with a set of 205/50 15’s in stead of a 60-series. The tires will look considerably better and be closer to the stock diameter than the larger 205/60’s. Anyone else with any ideas on good deals? I’m interested in what people like for daily use…
I have some toyo proxies on my phat 5’s…but i suggust you get 195/55/15…they looks niceer…well to me…
The toyo proxies have a nice tread, and its thick as hell…itll last you a while too…its good daily driver tires…
but its ure car…everybody has thier own opinions…knoe wut i mean?
what size tire do you plan on buying. because 205-60-15 is way to big.
i would look for some 205-50-15’s or some 195-50-15’s if you are slammed.
but i would recommend the falken ziex ze-512. of your lookin for some all seasons.
195-50’s are tiny, they look strange and if you’re really low, they’ll only put you even closer to the ground.
stick to 195-55 or 205-50. both are equally good in their own respects. I wouldn’t hesitate to run either size, whereas 195-50 and 205-60… yeah, they’re pretty far off the correct tire size for our cars.
