whistling sound from konis???

I’ve had my new koni yellows and sportlines w/ ingalls camber kit on for a week now… just today i started hearing a kinda whistling sound coming when the car levitates up and down (noooo bouncing w/ the konis) it is pretty loud and not a “cool” sound to hear all the time esp w/ people in my car - too high pitched for even my music to drown it out. I’m just scared that there is a leak or something in my konis making the sound… or it is hopefully not my konis - anyone else had this problem?

do you have urethane bushings on your stabalizer bars? if you do, i bet that’s it. the front bushings on my car kinda pop and groan when the suspension is compressed, like during braking. it happens most in the morning, i think because the bushings haven’t heated up from the day and friction from use.

other than that, dunno. good luck!

I know what you are talking about with that noise - I have the polyurethane bushings in the camber kit, which weren’t lubed so I hear them “squeaking” alllll the time. This noise is new and it is a whistling sound from the suspension:(

yeah, i know what you mean about the squeaking, but only my rear bushings squeak. the front ones moan and pop, kinda like whistling.

did you try calling koni? maybe they can at least tell you how to check if your shocks are bad.

good luck!
