Whistling sound near engine

Just the other day I started hearing this whistling sound from near my engine. When I popl the hood it sounds like its coming from the pulleys or something on the driver’s side. It’s higher pitched the higher the rpm’s and it also kinda sounds scrape-like…but more whistling. I though it could be the pulleys but a buddy of mine said my belt tension may not be tight enough. Any ideas? Thanks.

Try tightening your belts. Though I’m not sure what it could be. If it were my car the first few things I would check would be belts, pop the valve cover and check the timing belt. I would probably also have someone check out the distributor that knew what they were doing. After that I’d probably come ask the boards like you.

a whistling eh?

step 1: Remove turbo

step 2: ship to me.

problem solved.

Problem solved

Thanks for the input. It turned out that my timing belt is loose so I gotta get that replace. Sucks but at least it will work.
