so i have these set of wheels that i just recently got and just wanted to ask g2ic.com what is your opinion on them. Should i keep em?

I’m not hugely fond of them… I was going to say keep them as a set of ’ winter wheels’… But then I saw your from Fresno :stuck_out_tongue:

They look decent, I’ve always dug BMW bottlecaps… I think they’d look better in a different color tho.

I think he meant that suggesting them as “winter wheels” doesn’t make sense because you live in Fresno - where you don’t need winter wheels. Personally I’m a fan of white on white, and I’ve almost always had white wheels on my car, but in this case I think another color would look better. I don’t like white wheels that have such a large face on them, it just looks like a large white disc. CPR’s or CPF’s are just about the most “full” wheel I like in white. I guess with the exception of CF-48’s, but still they’d be really hard to pull off white/white on a DA. For the bottle caps I’d run silver, black or gunmetal.

Either way I’d switch my focus to getting some fender moldings and a new corner light, then worry about wheels.

Hah, didn’t mean that anything is wrong with Fresno! Just meaning that you Cali guys don’t really have much of a ‘winter’. Out here its very adviseable to have a set of winter wheels so the nice ones don’t get trashed… but out on the coast, as long as you keep em clean, there’s no real ‘need’ to have a spare set.

As far as color I like the dark gray color that those wheels are, stock. But if you were gonna have them re-done, you could always have them powder coated a custom color.

Okay got cha! Haha hey we do still get rain here lol, as for the corner light um I already have both side lol top pic was taken before my corner lights came in :slight_smile: um I actually got the car non running, no lights and no wheels! But yeah I know fender molding are missing, maybe I’ll go get sum from junk yard haha. Hmm I think I’ma have to do a lil Photoshop with the wheels in different color and see which one match best then, I only got them cause the tires were still like 80-90% thread :wink:

i personly love white wheels but im not a fan of those ones maybe a different color would do some good but im not sure wat color. maybe gun metal

hey man I think they look good I would have gone with a darker color maybe! But hey to each his own

thanks for all the comments guys! haha yeah, well i got the wheels like that so I was not too worry about redoing the whole wheel like stripping paint of, sand it, and repaint or anything. I was more concern about getting the car to run, since i got it non running, those wheels was for temporary only, needed something asap to sit on :slight_smile:
