White smoke

i have a few questions regarding oil pressure and smoke from my exhaust.

1- there is white smoke coming from the exhaust which means burning oil right? i found there was oil around the spark plugs and a few other places. what else could be causing this? (rings going bad maybe)

2 just installed the oil pressure gauge and was wondering if 35psi on idle is correct and about 70psi when on the throttle?

white smoke? that sounds like coolant bro…-_-*

white smoke = coolant / water
bluish white smoke = oil
black = fuel

1.) do you have oil on your plug wire recepticles also? if so you may have bad o-ring gaskets on your valve cover and it may be seeping past.

2.) thats fine.

there wasnt oil on the inside of the plugs but on the valve cover top itself. the plugs keep popping up for some weird reason. need to be replaced.
is it bad to have a coolant type hose as a oil return line.(how the car came) would it be better to swap with a steel braided line?

sorry for all the questions, im just trying to get this car running at full ability.
